He doesn't care about voting; he has no GOTV infrastructure. He will try to cause as much chaos and confusion as possible on election day by inciting his supporters to disrupt polling centers. I expect violence.

We have to be ready for it.

Since Donald Trump doesn't have any ground game, his attempts to cause chaos will be severely limited. I'll grant that it's easier to cause trouble than get people to the polls but he doesn't have enough structure to make too many bad things happen.

It's been reported from different sources (sorry, no links right now) that many states are addressing concerns about the potential for voter intimidation or even violence. But I'm confident that most, if not all, polling places will be safe and relatively accurate.

Trump follows some of the basic maxims of fascism:
- boasts/insults/slogans/provocations, because they feel good
- action for action's sake, because it feels good
- thinking is for losers

Trump says whatever comes to his mind (be it truth or lie) and he doesn't care for the consequences.

Trump's "plan" how to win this election was actually revealed a few months ago. You wanna hear it? Alright, witness the strategic genius of Donald Trump:
He wants to win the election with his charisma and the free publicity he gets from the media, all the while spending as little of his money as possible on campaigning.

That's his plan.

The power of his charisma. (Well, the people who want to vote for him, will vote for him as hard as they can.)
Free publicity. (He is getting coverage. More than he asked for.)
Not spending money on campaigning. (Little to no staff, no ground-game, some states without any campaign-infrastructure and... am I wrong or has Trump not launched a single TV-ad? Groups like the NRA are running anti-Hillary ads, but Trump? Nothing.)

He has no plan. He started running, because he felt like it. Then he stayed in the race because he liked the way it felt. Now that he's in trouble in the polls, he said that he will go back to his luxurious life if he loses.

He has no plan. He is a 70 year old spoiled and pampered brat who was never told that he's in the wrong and who does whatever he feels like.

This is going to attract thousands, even tens of thousands to "volunteer" bigotsto make sure that black and Hispanic voters are prevented from voting. Trump has been sending out barely coded racist dogwhistles in conjunction with his outrage about (nonexistent) voter fraud. Back in the Bush years, there was a great deal of vote suppression by accredited Republican poll watchers because many states permit voters' identities and registration to be challenged right in the polling place. That tactic wasn't well reported because the long lines and insufficient voting machines in minority precincts became the big vote suppression story at the time.

Please note the word "accredited." By law, states require that poll watchers/observers be trainedby their party on the local rules, and are formally credentialed and accredited by their party or candidate. I very much doubt that the Trump campaign has the wherewithal to take their supposed poll watchers through the necessary steps to accreditation. Those that do will obviously be horrendously disruptive in their polling places, but if they get seriously out of line, they can be physically removed. More worrisome to me is the likelihood of those who signed up but weren't officially accredited (because the campaign isn't equipped to do it) causing riots when they are NOT allowed inside. Think about it.
