Time to Start Labeling tRump for what He Appears to be - a Commie

Given the now confirmed ties of his campaign manager to Russia via Ukraine payoffs, and now the hacking being linked to investigation of his relationship, Trump appears to be the exact thing scumbags like McCarthy and John Wayne feared/accused others of... a Soviet sympathizer with direct ties to Russia. Who would he serve more, the U.S., or Putin's wannabe Soviet resurgence?

How any jingoist or veterans would support him after this is beyond me, except that they use no logic in determining their allegiance. He would have been a pariah in the 50's. Time to make him one now, IMO.

....and the Eastern European regimes are more like corrupt oligarchies than anything that might be found in Marx. (Not that Soviet Style communism was really any different other than using it as a rouse for Russian imperialism)

Putin is rotten to the core, but we do NOT become the next bunch of McCarthy/raving right wing anti-Red loonies! The cold war is over and done. Also, being a communist means a person is left wing. Trump is anything but - but the right wing has been trying to disavow their embarrassments by calling them commies/socialists/progressives/left wingers. You want to help them with that? This is a really dumb idea.

11. I agree "Commie" is not the right term. But he seems to be VERY tied to Putin/Russia

I do realize communism in theory really has very little to do with Putin's pseudo-dictatorship, but the Russian government's business relationship with tRump and its influence in his campaign are undeniable. And I find that exceptionally dangerous.

or neo-Tsarist.

Putin sees himself as Peter the Great, and you just know how much Trump would enjoy being Ivan the Terrible.

mostly dead in Russia. But Commie is a buzzword that will never die for a right wing reprobate.

...aka the Pacman Tunnel of Madness.

Go far enough to the right, and you emerge in the extreme left, and vice-versa. And in that Pacman tunnel is batshit insanity.

Trump's gone so far right he's in the Pacman tunnel, and adopted a few pieces of far batshit left.

Given their embracing of things that, once upon a time, I was taught as reasons we were better Han the Soviets: torture, airbrushing history to remove inconvenient elements, ham-handed propaganda organs, etc, I've occasionally quipped about the ongoing Sovietization of the Republican Party.

I don't think it's Communist anymore. People just think it is because it's a sham Democracy and mafia state.
