President Obama repaired most of our international relationships, damaged by President George W. Bush, during his first term. He then solidified and strengthened those partnerships during his second term. Near-future President Clinton will have the benefit of her predecessor's excellent diplomacy and will not have to waste her time re-building too many bridges. Since Donald Trump hasn't actually affected foreign policy, other than as news items, US diplomacy hasn't been compromised. Of course, Russia will be another issue but it was always thus.

The rest of the world sees Donald Trump for the idiot that he is. Fortunately, it appears that so do most Americans.
