compare and contrast: manafort russian involvement vs. hillary emails:

msnbc's with all due respect: presumption of innocence for manafort; no money seen to be paid. do not JUDGE until more evidence is in

cnn's wolfie show, reading off manafort's denial, refusing to mention his lying about the Times not saying he was paid, calling for careful adherence to the idea of finding evidence of illegal payments before taking action

Hillary's email: Lock her UP, basically. no presumption of innocence, while slobbering over the upcoming release of the FBI transcripts, which will show that she TOLD the TRUTH, and despite their, what nine month inquiry and best efforts to nail her, came up with what.......oh yeah....NOTHING

the disparity in attitude between the treatment of both candidates on just these two fronts was nothing short of astounding today; I had to hit my head with a hammer to make sure I wasn't dreaming this.

Halperin, and even Donny Deutch (sp?), the latter of whom has been very hard on trump, were unbelievably deferential to manafort's position, not dealing at ALL with his sleazy, parsing, non denial denial. that said, I hope the Times has more to say on this story, and the Ukrainian agency is going to release some evidence, which the Times has requested.
