Fox News host -- "he was adopted by two white parents"

“This country that he doesn’t respect by sitting during the national anthem has afforded him an opportunity in life that I don’t know many other countries that would,” Theismann opined.

“And let’s be honest,” Kilmeade said, “he was adopted by two white parents, he was well supported.”

“I don’t know what is in his experience that could be so negative,” the host added. “But let’s start from the place, we all love the country and let’s try to make it better.”

If you don't stand for the national anthem it means you don't love America. White people standing for the national anthem is proof that they love America.

Is Brian Kilmeade actually the dumbest guy on Fox? I know there's a lot of competition.

He is sacrificing endorsement opportunities for his stance because he can draw attention to an issue they keep trying to sweep under the rug. When you have the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court state that there is no racism and removes certain key provisions of the Voting Rights Act then obviously a point needs to be made that racism is alive and well.

Obama's presidency, the Trump candidacy, and the countless videos of unarmed black men being shot by police still have not made much difference in how our government and our country deal with racism.

I applaud this athlete's bravery and commitment!!!

Why does it matter if he doesn't stand up during the national anthem?

It means about as much as someone wearing a flag lapel or using the term "freedom fries" because some French expressed doubts about Dumbya's idiotic invasion of Iraq.

Why is it news? And what does his adoptive parents have to do with anything? Did they sprinkle some magical SUPERFICIAL patriot dust on him because of their skin color?
