Opposition To The $15.00 Wage/Minimum Wage Is Fundamentally Racist.

Forget about all the traditional arguments about the minimum wage and also the $15 an hour figure. It is fundamentally racial. The real reasons, though GOPPERS won't admit it, is that you do not want to give "N's", "S's" and lazy slackers or unskilled workers a raise. We cannot afford to pay "those" people a living wage or anything near it.

Also if they make enough money they will demand more and demand rights. They will achieve enough political power to change things. And we cannot have that.

We must all remember no matter where the rhetoric starts with a Republican when you dig to the deepest part of their psyche it is about racism, hatred, misogyny, bigotry and anti Semitic. Who GOPPERS are is in their DNA. Like a tiger it is in their stripes. Strip them naked and the same stripes are still there.

The OP is correct in my opinion concerning the GOP. But, it the case of minimum wage, the effect of any change will be felt by all races.

"Race and Hispanic or Latino ethnicity
. The percentage of
hourly paid workers with wages at or below the federal
minimum wage was little different among the major race
and ethnicity groups. About 4 percent of White workers
and Black workers earned the federal minimum wage
or less. Among Hispanic or Latino workers and Asian
workers, the percentage was about 3 percent for each
group.

table

Yes the opposition to the minimum wage really is about pathological greed actually. But Republicans I am around also send that racist message that only minorities have crappy jobs because they are inadequate. I get that sub message all the time when I am around GOPPERS and the minimum wage comes up.

I agree with the person above, these are fundementally greedy people.

A higher minimum wage is very popular with a broad section of voters, including Republicans. Just not their bought and paid for politicians.

If you're just going to stick your fingers in your ears and scream "racism" regardless of the lack of inequity, then there will never be productive dialog or progress toward our shared goals.

$15 minimum wage is a stupid policy that doesn't correct our problems and exacerbates worse problems.

as a national standard. In some states, it is not enough. In others, it is high, and more than the local economies can bear.

There are legitimate arguments to be made that a $15 min would be too high as a national minimum wage that have nothing to do with race. I'm against a $15 minimum, but I'm also a small business owner that would be hurt by it.

That is the reason why Trump is still alive in polls, when everything is racist ... an actual racist is hard to marginalize. No one takes it seriously when it is used to end, or begin, trivial arguments.

Everything really isn't about race. Honest. And nonsense such as this only diminishes the impact of the word when used in a context where it actually applies.
