(5,517 posts)This is what I loath about modern politics - the blatant hero worship. It's authoritarian. People think "Democrat" and "Republican" mean that you're bound to inalienable love for your party's candidate no matter how ridiculous or corrupt they are.
It's embarrassing watching Conservatives trying to polish this turd sandwich. The claims of Donald's performance as "masterful" are nauseating exaggerations of boot licking. Despite voting for Hillary as the better of the two crappy alternatives, I would never defend the things she does. That's not selling out - all of the candidates suck, and I'm picking the least terrible of the bunch. Donald is an idiot and wouldn't even have the smarts to be lead fry cook at Burger King...
