Most other candidates make a point to appear at one, or multiple Labor Day events to interact with labor leaders and working class people. Not Trump.
As I watched ABC News this morning, I see that they're giving coverage of Trump's appearance at the AA church in Detroit. That's THREE days of coverage out of ONE event. Trump has gotten so much free coverage in lieu of campaign ad purchases, it's sickening. I think it's safe to assume the other major networks gave Trump a similar courtesy from his Detroit church appearance, given their track record. Geez, they've given him coverage by just showing an empty stage/podium for lengths of time until he appears.

(9,041 posts)That coverage is gold to Don the Con.
I wish they would quit giving him such airtime.
Meanwhile I'm trying to write enough replies to start my own thread re voting by post. Its the best way to ensure you get your vote counted without having to stand in the sun or rain for hours.
Turning up in person to vote on election day is just too time consuming in many areas. And we can guess why. Suppression.
I lived in Australia for nearly 40 years and never waited to vote more than 5 minutes. The situation here makes a mockery of the USA election process.
Lets not start on electoral boundaries.
