Mike Pence Acknowledges Reality, Throws Trump Under the Bus

"I believe Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. I accept his birthplace," Indiana Gov. Mike Pence told reporters on Wednesday, declining to say if he thinks Trump should apologize.

OK, "I accept his birthplace" is a weird Hoosierish way of putting it, but Pence is plainly positioning himself to lead the Empirical Reality wing of the Republican base in 2020.

Sources say both of those people were very impressed.

there's nothing "Hoosierish" about that statement. What he just said is, "I accept his birthplace." He didn't finish the sentence though. You know as well as I do that the rest of that sentence was along the lines of, "but I don't accept him." Just a thinly veiled way of not accepting the validity of his presidency. Now if your statement had been, "OK, "I accept his birthplace" is a weird douche baggy way of putting it"........

P. S. I'm a Hoosier and I'm very offended by your statement.

P. P. S. I'm a Hoosier and I'm even more offended by Mike Pence.
