This Sunday is the 15th year anniversary of 9-11.

A very sad day in our country's history. We must honor those who lost their lives that day.

I was living in the NY suburbs then and like everyone in this country, it was a surreal day. My kids were in HS then and they told me that a neighborhood girl (who's parents both worked in the towers) was seen running down the hall screaming with her arms open... Her parents were both fine thank God but for some reason, that image haunts me..since it hit home.

Numbness was what I remember for weeks and it's very hard to watch any specials...no one will ever forget...
