Jury seated for the Malheur Refuge takeover trial - #BundyTeaParty

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A jury has been seated for the case against 7 defendants in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge takeover.

Media reports indicated the jury is made up of 8 men and 4 women. Eight alternates were also chosen for the case that may last until Thanksgiving. All 20 will be sworn in on Tuesday ...

armed insurrection of a bird sanctuary was ill-conceived.

There are more colorful descriptions we could use for their failed crusade, most of them richly justified.

No matter the outcome of the trial, I think I will remember these guys as armed-to-the-teeth galoots begging for French vanilla coffee creamer.

One potential juror, a student at Portland Community College, said he had “no idea” about the case.

“This is the first juror who has no idea,” Brown said, smiling and throwing her hands up off her desk.
