Trump gets away

With actually saying racist hateful rhetoric which a lot of racist deplorables are attracted to.

Hillary notes the truth about a lot of his supporter being hateful, and the media is all on it.

I wish they would cover Trumps comments like this

Many here say the media wants a horse race. I actually think they want him to win. It is actually laughable. The most transparent bs i have seen in my life.

They could be asked to vigorously and adroitly blast media outlets who traffic in misrepresentation.

(That's a lot of outlets, over a damned long time, but in this case, they could aim squarely at cable media who undermine HRC for her comments on Trump's supporters while allowing Trump -- for some long months now -- to get away with almost everything.)

And three cheers for Joy Reid for not only doing her job but doing it better than it's been done in years by anybody.

She intended to say it and I applaud her speaking the truth. Of course the media is all over it and that's what she wanted.

Unless we start openly and honestly calling out the deplorables among us who are driven by hate, they will grow in number. We cannot allow them to become normalized and powerful. Her statement may also appeal to those Republicans who aren't deplorable (which there are) and that may further divide the GOP.

Not only is this a true and calculated statement, saying it at this time gets the attention of the media and effectively competes with the trumpster for air time. Also it starts a good narrative leading up to the debates. If this continues to be talked about for a week or so, then you know it will come up as one of the debate topics. That will give Hillary the perfect opportunity to nail Trump in front of a huge national audience when they are actually paying attention.
I see this as a brilliant move by Hillary.
