Here's the COVER of Newsweek for tomorrow

From Rachel's screenshots -

"A close examination by Newsweek of the Trump Organization, including confidential interviews with business executives and some of its partners, reveals an enterprise with deep ties to global financiers, foreign politicians and even criminals, although there is no evidence the Trump organization has engaged in any illegal activities.

It also reveals a web of contractual entanglements that could not be just canceled. If Trump moves into the White House and his family continues to receive any benefit from the company, during or even after his presidency, almost every foreign policy decision he makes will raise serious conflicts of interest and ethical quagmires.

If Donald Trump is elected president, will he and his family permanently sever all connections to the Trump Organization, a sprawling business empire that has spread a secretive financial web across the world? Or will Trump instead choose to be the most conflicted president in American history, one whose business interests will constantly jeopardize the security of the United States?"

==========================================================

NEWSWEEK to release Trump financial conflicts.

We're looking forward to sharing @kurteichenwald's latest Newsweek cover story at 6AM ET tomorrow (9/14). Thanks @maddow for the preview

after just watching a rachel rerun, these connections should disqualify him from the presidency. How could they ever give him a top secret clearance, ever!!!

even if he cut his business ties, he could never keep what he knows to himself and would surely blab to his world connections.............he's a CON!

It's a medical condition and we need to know exactly what it, how likely it will kill him in office, and if it is communicable...say through shaking supporters' hands or kissing their babies.

"Clinton’s email habits look positively transparent when compared with the subpoena-dodging, email-hiding, private-server-using George W. Bush administration. Between 2003 and 2009, the Bush White House “lost” 22 million emails. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was ginning up support for what turned out to be a disastrous war in Iraq with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and, later, when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons."

I have been waiting forever for someone in the media to pin him down on this.

From a couple of statements he has made, it sounds to me as if he is intending to continue business as usual while President.

When Trump was asked about setting up a blind trust earlier this year during a Fox Business debate, Trump was all over the place as to what he would do with his assets:

"If I become president, I couldn't care less about my company. It's peanuts. I want to use that same — up here, whatever it may be — to make America rich again, and to make America great again. I have Ivanka and Eric and Don sitting there. Run the company, kids. Have a good time. I'm going to do it for America. ... I would put it in a blind trust. Well, I don't know if it's a blind trust if Ivanka, Don and Eric run it. But — is that a blind trust? I don't know. But I would probably have my children run it with my executives. And I wouldn't ever be involved, because I wouldn't care about anything but our country. Anything."

A campaign spokeswoman said this week that nothing has changed since he made that statement. In other words: No blind trust.

It reminds me of the "exposé" ABC news did on Reagan when he was running for the 2nd term. 5 minutes of RR on screen, no one remembers much of the story but the image lasts. Reagan's press secretary thanked Diane Sawer for the free PR. I bet that blond politibot working for Trump does the same with Newsweek's editorial board.
