thought for a long time Wolf Blitzer is actually a wooden dummy controlled by someone who just came back from lunch and wants to take a nap. His vocabulary is straight out of See Jack run--see Jill run.

But the MSM press is too beholding to large corporations, moneyed interests, etc., to focus on what the American people want and need.

Great cartoon!

Radio, TV, and Newspapers is owned by just 6 huge multinational corporations who don't really have any particular vested interest in the USA. They exist only to make money for their stockholders. They have turned their 'News Dept' from a cost center when it actually had to provide real news into a profit center that delivers 'Infotainment'.

If you keep that one fact in mind, then it all makes sense. They really don't care who gets elected President, so if bashing Hillary and trumpeting the Yammering Yam sells more cars and dishwashing soap, that's what they will do so they can sell more advertising at higher prices to make more money.

It is as simple as that. (And since most Trump voters are low-information, then the 'See Dick, See Dick run. See Jane.' style works well with them.
