Colin Powell Shows Lack Of Courage By Not Coming Full Out For Hillary & Against Trump/GOP.

If Powell really does believe what he says about Trump he really has an obligation to come out full bore against the GOP and Trump. The fact that he wants to supposedly stay out of the fray says a lot about his priorities. I guess he does not want o alienate his GOP friends.

Sometimes your legacy is less important than the health of a nation. Trump is a clear and present danger to all the USA is about and he and his supporters should be thrashed and punished severely. Their way is evil and corrupt and should NOT be tolerated and the press and media should be vilified for its collusion. They are also traitors to the nation by not burying this guy forth with.

Trump should lose big and his followers should be ashamed to show their ugly faces. They are enemies and no better than the terrorists because they will bring this country down just like the terrorists.

He's one of many who have enabled Trump by their silence.

Birtherism flourished because of Powell and others failing to speak up.

He has no credibility with me. Lied to the UN when he must have known the spin about WMDs.

I love how Collin Powell, who straight up lied to the UN about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, is blamed less for the Iraq war and considered more trustworthy than Hillary Clinton. Also he left the job of Secretary of state without handing over a single email, all of which were from a private email account. Pays to have a penis.

Tell me, TheMastersNemesis, under which law and by what authority would we thrash and punish severely a SUPPORTER of Trump?

Love to know.

That sounds pretty unfriendly and disrespectful!

for him not coming out against Trump. He blames the media for the rise of trump and believes that discussing trump in any context (good or bad) only helps trump.

"It is time to start ignoring him. You guys are playing his game, you are his oxygen," he wrote to CNN's Fareed Zakaria in December. "He outraged us again today with his comments on Paris no-go for police districts. I will watch and pick the timing, not respond to the latest outrage."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/14/here-are-the-juiciest-colin-powell-comments-about-trump-and-clinton-from-his-leaked-emails/

As far as not endorsing Clinton (yet), his emails pretty much explain that as well.

Now that everything is public, an official endorsement would be a distraction because the media would bring up what he said about her. All we can hope for now is a scathing rebuke of trump.

more than he disrespect Hillary.

You are right that he was scathing toward all parties involved, though I do believe he has more respect for Hillary and her experience than he does for clownish Trump.
