One-stop partial treasury of today's dizzying, ironic, ruefully funny, at bottom horrifying news:

The Morning Scabs circus got dizzier than usual, whipping back and forth from opposite propaganda points: She’s down in the polls and losing fast, she’s down in Maine but will win it anyway, she’s losing campaign time but the whole crew of surrogates is high powered and not matched by the DRUMPF 2nd tier and OBAMA was totally great, and on and on.

So it continued with the internet. Forget the most important item about the Repuke governors rejecting the Medicaid expansion leading to the 7 states with highest uninsured.

As for the Newsweek BOMBSHELL about DRUMPF’s lifelong and inherent criminal business dealings, I’m not one to wallow. That’s the problem/reason that he gets away with stuff. We KNOW that he’s a slimy criminal and toss off the detailed versions. We are GROSS GENERALISTS, as Hillary said, don’t need the details. Somebody thought I would ENJOY looking at (hours?) of somebody’s research into DRUMPF’s dirty deeds – uh, I don’t need the hours or the details. Wallowing is for fun.

I saw O’REILLY say last night (about voter SUPPRESSION/”ID”), “All the African Americans I KNOW have IDs.” Raises the question: How many (whatever minorities) does O’LOOFAH know?!

Oh and ColOn POWELL and CondO RICE think Benghazi was/is a witchhunt. More like, Glad it’s not me. Why would those two add authority to what has been known as true forever?! ColOn whose cover-up of My Lai launched his career of doing the bidding of Old White Men. And CondO whose main accomplishment was to look hot in knee-high boots. Talk about having an emperor in the U.S., only Shrub could have his top advisor/CondO soothe him playing piano when the country was attacked.

And for more levity, I’ve never looked at the Dr OZ show, just vaguely heard he is a quack. So one quack attracts another, and DRUMPF was supposedly going to use the OZ t.v. show to further trivialize this election with his medical records on the air. I hadn’t thought about it, but now it turns out Dr OZ is a Muslim born to Turkish immigrant parents. What with two of three wives and his mother being immigrants, DRUMPF needs therapy to answer his hostile fixation on immigrants.

This Is What Happens When Your State Government Blocks The Medicaid Expansion
The South is missing out and falling behind.

.... ... Then the Supreme Court intervened. In a 2012 ruling about a constitutional challenge to the law, the court gave states new leeway to decline participating in the Medicaid expansion.

States with Republican governors or legislatures (or both) were quick to seize on that latitude. They wanted no part of Obamacare, they said, and so declined to participate.

But ever so slowly, Republican officials in some of those states had second thoughts. The federal government picks up nearly all of the cost of new Medicaid enrollees, so for the states it’s a sweet deal financially. It’s more money for doctors and hospitals, and eventually other businesses ― and, of course, critical financial protection and access to medical care for the poor. ....

... Among the seven states where the Census Bureau found that more than 12 percent of people still didn’t have coverage last year, six were states that rejected the Medicaid expansion. The three biggest holdouts are Florida, Georgia and Texas. Two of the others are also in the South, in which Republicans dominate. ....
