but it looks like they're not the result of some well organized attack on the country.

I think my chances of getting struck by lightning are better than my chances of being struck by a terrorist.

what a depressing commentary on just how bizarre this election cycle is, with the worst candidate that we have ever seen, vain, ignorant, hate-filled, hate-mongering. . . . it is no wonder that this was the first thought in many minds.

I'm no fan of Trump but there is zero chance that he would risk (1) the end of his candidacy, and (2) the chance of going to prison for life, by pulling a stunt that would require many co-conspirators and wouldn't even necessarily increase his support by that much. In the light of many recent events, Jihadism is by far the most likely explanation for this kind of thing.

These kids grew up as Muslims in a post 9/11 America.
These are mentally ill young men, this all should have been prevented, by us.

I have to wonder about those 5 other bozos they hauled in. Apparently the only similarity among the different bombs in NJ to the two in NYC were the cell phone triggers.

Then again, we're all sill mushrooms out here, kept in the dark and fed a steady diet of bullshit.

at least about NYC.

I think the guy in St. Cloud is probably more apt to be mentally ill and acting on his own.

Especially because there was no body count. Bad enough to beat the anti-immigrant terror drum, but not bad enough to actually kill anybody.
