She actually does a fairly decent job of defending him and deflecting for him given that she has absolutely no substance (from him) to work with. She puts on a pretty good, if shallow, act. It's only when you're as up to speed as most of us here at DU that it becomes clear that it's gibberish. I have friends and family that are not political junkies, and they just don't detect the bullshit.
