The Washington Mall shooter

I'm not sure what to do with this.

My wife was at the commissary in Oak Harbor where he used to work, and she asked the woman at the checkout if she knew the guy when he worked there. And the woman replied oh yes, and then said "he threatened to kill everyone here, so they fired him".

I haven't seen where the police have made this public, or even if they know about it, but I think if this isn't out there, it should be.

Would an anonymous call to a newspaper work, or just call the police?

This could have ramifications if the base didn't report it or if the police knew and didn't do anything about it...

Much of it documented. I don't think an anecdote will make much of a difference.

However, it seems it was already known he had issues. Saw it on the news today.

Posslibly there is a law against such threats to kill and he could have been arrested before he carried out his threats.

nobody wants to "get involved".

How many of the mass shooters were there obvious signs of trouble and so many people could have stepped in but nobody did?

So I don't think this one would make any difference.

Police will check his workplaces to see just how bad he's been. His parents filed orders of protection against him, so they know he's been really bad news for a long time.
