On Air With Ryan Seacrest: President Obama On Donald Trump & Hillary Clinton’s First Debate, Biggest Concerns For Future & College Lingo

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton went head to head at Long Island’s Hofstra University for the first presidential debate of the 2016 general election Monday night. Moderated by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt, Trump and Clinton presented two conflicting visions for the country as they laid out their blueprint for the economy, crime and policing, foreign policy, and argued about each other’s temperament, “birtherism,” and more.

On Hillary Clinton:

"I am admittedly biased. I've worked with Hillary, I know her, she is well-prepared, she's got the right temperament for the job, she's well-respected around the world, she's serious, she does her homework, and she's got a vision to put people back to work and make sure the economy is working for everybody and not just a few."

On Donald Trump:

"I would say that the other guy doesn't have the preparation, the temperament, or the core values of inclusion and making everybody have opportunities that would take our country forward."

...he knows the President never punches down.

And every time the other guy goes after Rosie, or a former Ms. Universe, or a contractor who "didn't do good enough work"...he punching down and I think it's starting to register on people.

The other guy is a lightweight and given his choices of opponents, he natural reflex is to take on other lightweights. Nothing negative against Rosie, Ms. U, or the contractor but honestly, they're not running for President. HRC is the heavyweight (in a good way).

Trump looked tired, and confused, and every bit of his 70 years. He does not have the stamina or the temperament.

Some said he has a cold, ie: the sniffles the other night. Whatever, the only stamina he has he saves for tweeting.

Sad.

Thanks, Guillaumeb.
