It was just on, a few weeks back. I don't ever remember them running the same movie, twice, in such a short period of time.

(111,383 posts)and overexposes a lot of his personal favorites while giving short shrift to the great and/or campy films of the 1930s. Most of the time I'm annoyed as hell because TCM is largely unwatchable unless a good guest programmer is on.
However, he can't run "A Face in the Crowd" enough, IMO, it has such an incredible message for our time about the power of media to create dangerous propagandists.

And I'm not surprised that Ben Mankiewicz is a fan of this film.

I'm a little surprised a conservative has noticed what the media's been up to, it's on their side. I suppose he chose this movie as a slap against Trumpery.

(34,582 posts)I would have DVRed it. Amazon Prime has it (of course, Netflix doesn't- they don't appear to have much) but my trial period is over and I haven't ponied up yet.
