The New York Times, like most large newspapers, have op eds from both ends so as to appear "balanced"

Editorials are clearly marked as such

Well, here's a good editorial:

Donald Trump Goes Low
By The Editorial Board
Sniffing and glowering, Donald Trump prowled behind Hillary Clinton. Once again, she was the only adult on the stage.

Reagan and W were both useful idiots themselves and were little more than puppets of people like Cheney and Wolfowitz.

As scary as it was knowing there was someone behind the curtain working the levers, it's even scarier when you realize there isn't anyone behind the curtain working the levers.

I think we are all used to the type of political exaggeration used to encompass a set of ideals, or policy--but man, oh man--Trump babbled his way through one lie to another, with zero finesse or care. He was trying to score points, but there was nothing new there--I've been seeing "Hillary for Prison" tee shirts for well over a year now on the type of overgrown racist rednecks you would expect to wear them.

Trump learns nothing from prior mistakes. Had no intention of learning

His entire business philosophy is built around making promises he can't possibly deliver. When the fiscal reality sets in his failures leave everyone who was unfortunate enough to believe his lies holding the bag. Creditors get screwed. Suppliers get screwed. Shareholders get screwed. Employees get screwed. He even screws his own lawyers that he retains to screw other people. Meanwhile Trump gets a Yuuuuge personal tax writeoff to carry forward with virtually no actual personal loss. It's no wonder he believes his own bullshit. The game is so hopelessly stacked in his favor there's no way he can lose no matter how incompetent he is, and the icing on the cake is he just blamed HRC for allowing him to do it as if it's actually her fault he's a monumental fuckup and a predatory parasite on society.

Lying would be common place and with a Republican controlled Congress, he could abuse his power as Command in Chief to throw political opponents in jail...OR WORSE!
