Above the Law? What last nights reviews of Debate are ignoring

Donald J Trump " knowingly and with malicious intent sexually assaulted a female who corroborated said crime with defendant via news outlets saying she has moved on, by refusing to prosecute authorities have admitted conflicts of interest and should call for outside authority to aid in an investigation,

According to both Republicans and Democratic individuals "No one should be above the law , especially not our lawmakers.

Our media should hide thier heads shame

Sexual conduct by person in authority or mental health care provider

Many states also criminalize sex between a person in authority – such as a teacher, police officer or prison guard – and someone over whom that person has authority – a student, a person in police custody, or a prisoner in a correctional facility or jail. The rationale for criminalizing this conduct is that capacity to consent is diminished by the authority the teacher or other authority figure has over the student or other person.

Many states also criminalize sex between a psychotherapist or other mental health care provider and a client or patient on the grounds that the nature of the relationship makes the client or patient incapable of knowing, voluntary consent.

Defenses

Defendants charged with sexual assault have the usual defenses available to all criminal defendants, starting with “Someone else committed this offense.” A defendant also can claim that the sexual activity was consensual. In a sexual assault case, there can be significant questions about what constitutes consent or what constitutes refusal. This has led to the infamous question of when does “No” mean “No.” Is it as soon as the word is spoken, or must the victim object more vigorously?

Another possible defense is an insanity defense, in which the defense argues that the accused is mentally ill and did not have the capacity to control his behavior, to form criminal intent, or to understand what he was doing or that his actions were unlawful.

Penalties

Sexual assault laws regarding rape and criminal sexual penetration usually define this conduct as a felony with serious penalties.

It sounds new. I was thrown by the legalistic phrasing your first paragraph used.

You're keeping this story anonymous and vague. We don't know what happened, when, where, to whom, or who else knows about it. How can we see a 'conflict of interest' about something with zero facts - zero allegations, in fact?

Featured DJT and Billy Bush as the voices heard by by now most of the free world, it's clear a crime was committed and who was responsible and other similar crimes hinted at and perpetuated by his own damning choice of words

Donald J Trumps self admitted criminal actions are now being used for what seems to have become some perverse entertainment value by many yet few calls for an investigation

I would bet my life that the authorities are well aware of these allegations of sexual assault spoken out loud by trump

unlike some I believe everyone deserves thier day in court to clear his or her name

But if no investigation is begun how will the victims ever win justice?

We know who the married woman who turned him down after the bizarre furniture shopping expedition was, but that seems to have been her telling him to take a hike - no assault involved.

No investigation would ever get anywhere without specific allegations by the women involved. We can use the tape to confirm our opinion that Trump is a misogynist happy to break the law, and not vote for him. But law involves evidence to present in court, and the presumption of innocence. Without an accuser, nothing will happen. And it's not a 'conflict of interest' for law enforcement to follow these long-established rules.
