Facebook Rant

I have "one of those people" on my Facebook feed and his Bill Clinton post this morning sent me over the edge:
"This meme is disgusting. To be very clear, Bill Clinton is NOT RUNNING FOR OFFICE!
Second, what Bill Clinton did, 20+ years ago, was aired out and talked about endlessly by the public, the press and Congress for years. He paid out of court settlements. He willingly gave up his law license for 5 years and has never tried to get it back. Impeached by the House and found not guilty by Senate. Shall we mention how many Republican members of Congress resigned during that time for lying about their own infidelities? We went through a couple Speakers during that time. Trump had been cheating on his first wife with his second about this time. For better or worse, the Clinton's have been married for 41 years.
Simply put, no one has any desire dig up that dead horse and beat it some more.

More importantly the deflection going on here is shameful. Where is the Party of Personal Responsibility now? I find it completely insane that a person that has spent his entire life shaming women: calling them fat and sluts and ugly and said he could grab women by the pussy and get away with it, saying that it was alright to call his own daughter "a piece of ass" is the chosen candidate of anyone, much less the parents of a daughter or grandparents of a granddaughter. That is the world you want them raised in? It IS NOT "locker room talk". He was a 60 year old man at the time. Talking about fucking a married women ( his words, not mine) and committing sexual assault at will. What is wrong with you people!?!?!"

1. Very nice rant. It is falling on deaf ears. Abortion and the "the gays".

The small c christian, deplorable voters are focusing on the supreme court. I am very happy she laid out the type of justices she would appoint. Happy because it makes their heads explode.

They want a Christian Nation.

I have limited my engaging with his supporters on facebook. Just reading their stupid memes and rants makes me realize these folks are drowning in their delusions. Pathetic.

Cheers.

Facebook. I just get angry and my blood pressure rises reading so many pro Trump posts from so many close relatives and then finding myself replying in anger. I should not be on if I cannot control myself. They will support this human horror until the bitter end.

But this particular issue is very important to me. People close to me were victims of sexual assault. I have two sons that I have taught since toddlers, to love and respect women. I cannot sit ideal and let others, family and friends, get a free pass to attack women or promote the concept that what others do excuses or equals what I do.
Where is the personal responsibility? Interesting, that a far-left, tree-hugging liberal has to reeducate my right-wing "Christian" friends and family about morals and values.

If that doesn't work, just unfriend them.
