There are a lot of different sources in their articles, most from reputable sources, and you can determine how much detail you want to read and whether or not you want to compare the facts as described in the different sources.

The members of Congress involved cannot be sued for defamation, since they are protected by the “Speech and Debate Clause” of the Constitution.
