Every year, there always seems to be a death or two from oleander. One family got sick just using an oleander stem as a barbecue skewer.

of my cousin using a poison ivy vine (maybe poison oak - memory problems) and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. Sent him to the hospital - weeks in oxygen tent .
