That's the way I interpret it anyway. Not that the murder itself was insignificant.
I believe she was basically saying, "we USED to think we had problems...now we know what REAL problems are.."

(8,556 posts)I imagine most people who are sitting in jail and facing murder charges would give anything to go back to complaining about having car trouble or waiting in line at the post office.
It's a common theme. When you're life goes off the rails, it does put things into perspective.
I'm sure Trayvon's family is feeling the same way too, only worse.

Shellie also says "Because what you told me to do yesterday would then mean that I need to go and get that out."
Were they planning a trip?
