Groupon Says It Will Name Your Baby For $1K

<---->

The deal states that, "Upon your child’s birth, Groupon will relieve you of the burden of naming your baby by bestowing a specially selected, custom-first name upon your infant son or daughter."

The company said it will email each purchaser of the deal with "A name for their child based on the name's aesthetic value and for how it might look emblazoned on a trophy one day."

As of Wednesday morning, six brave souls have taken Groupon up on the offer by purchasing the deal. However, no details have been released about the identities of the Grouponees or any names they've been pitched.

For those not expecting a special delivery anytime soon, fortunately, Groupon said the deal can also be purchased for friends and family members.
