Question about Trump Rape Case

This is a technical question that hopefully BamaRefugee can answer regarding the Trump rape case. There are 2 listed in the summons - Trump and Epstein. What would happen to the case if they are unable to serve Epstein because he is in cognito and unavailable? Would they be able to proceed without Epstein being served?
