Young Woman Gets kicked by a Police Horse After Slapping It | Kingston, Ontario

October 18, 2016
Kingston, Ontario – An unidentified student celebrating homecoming at Queens University got more than she expected when she participated in the latest prank of slapping police horses. Police are charging three people with slapping police horses as pranks during homecoming, but won’t confirm if the girl seen in the video is one of them. If found guilty, the three face up to 5 years in prison for their thoughtless actions.

In the video, the girl is seen running up to a mounted police horse, slapping it, then getting kicked as she turns to run. She falls on the ground, but regains her footing and runs past the camera holding her face. No word on if the girl was injured, but the Police tweeted that the horse is ok and without injury

Police won't confirm yet if the young woman who got bodied in the video is one of the three people being charged in relation to multiple horse-slapping incidents at Queens' homecoming in Kingston, Ontario. However, a female student at Queens is being charged—along with two men, who also apparently slapped a police horse. The criminal charges they're facing are due to injuring a law enforcement animal, which is a new addition to the Criminal Code. Their identities have yet to be released. If found guilty, the maximum penalty they could face is five years in prison.
Police in Kingston said their female horse Murney, a new member of the police force, was slapped three times.

Though the police horse kicked the young woman in the above video, Kingston police said their horse Murney was "startled by slaps but kept her restraint," not bucking or running off.

That'll teach that idiot to run up to a police horse and slap her. The equine cop was defending herself.

Well....contrary to popular belief, karma isn't a bitch--it's a mare!

Don't be mean to animals.

When animals hurt you because you hurt them - you have only yourself to blame.

Maybe the next stupid trend can be smacking police dogs.

You're likely to get kicked if you suddenly approach one from behind even without slapping it.

What an awful "fad" this is.

I hope they throw the book at her.

... but this response by a horse is close to instinctive and maybe not the sort of human behavior the horse's trainer anticipated. They will now.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity.

And it's impossible to make any system foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

If it's part and parcel of her continuing narrative, she may indeed... despite how absurd and idiotic she appears to a more rational thinker. That's the odd thing about idiots-- they believe themselves clever despite all evidence and consequence otherwise.
