Ann Romney really is a (how did Babs Bush put it?) rhymes with witch

Ann Romney is sort of a very awful person. So it's easy to see why she and Mitt are a match made in heaven. She's just as clueless as Mitt (We had to struggle to get by on nothing more than my husband's enormous inheritance), just as unprincipled (I love being attacked as a mother because we can exploit the heck out of it), and, just like her husbandbot, she's got a bit of mean streak in her:

Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said Monday that she doubted that she and her husband would vacation overseas as frequently as the Obamas if her husband were to win election.
Romney was responding to a question from WJR Detroit's Frank Beckmann, who asked Romney if her family would be vacationing as frequently as the Obamas.

"I doubt that," Romney replied. "Our vacations and our happiness come from being with our children and our grandchildren."

Okay. We all know that Republicans (and Cokie Roberts) are geographically challenged because U.S. Americans don't have enough maps, everywhere like such as. And that whether Hawaii is part of Kenya or these United States is a matter of some dispute among the dropped-repeatedly-on-their-heads crowd. But even by examining the list of fancy-shmancy Obama vacations wingers feverishly pass amongst themselves to prove something something something, you can see just how many elaborate and overseas their travels have been:

There was a local post that Obama had spent the equivalent of four months on the golf course. Does not matter that it is over weekends when he is entitled to golf or clear brush or whatever.

There are 2. That's 2 more than most Americans will ever get to take. And that is certainly more than most Americans are doing during this terrible Bush economy.

It has absolutely nothing to do with REALITY and has EVERYTHING to do with PERCEPTION.

Everything President Obama does costs a lot of money (because of the security and accommodation requirements of ANY president) and the PERCEPTION is that he is spending a ton of taxpayer money to do it, in a bad economy.

This is a very simple club to use against the President and honestly, he's done nothing to take it away from them.

I don't care what you claim is the 'perception'--Obama works hard and has a growing family and has not taken any more than any other president, and less than some.

You meet important people. They want you to come visit them. They live in some foreign country. That's the way it works for people like the Obamas. That list does not include some of the travel the Obamas have done. Obama was in Mexico meeting Putin. It wasn't a vacation, and I will bet that some things that the Obama's label as "vacations" really aren't. That's life in their lane. It's not live in our lanes.

Oh, and maybe if you raised your kids instead of having the nannys and maids do it for you, you wouldn't need to pretend that taking them out for ice cream once a month was a "vacation". You see, I raised my son alone, without the benefit of a nanny or maid. I never saw spending that time with him as a vacation. That was my responsibility, my life.
