It's quite another to lie when what you said is on video or audio tape.
He's deplorable on steroids.

If he tells them it didn't happen, regardless of the evidence, then it didn't happen. Believing him allows them to maintain their own beliefs about themselves. That chip on the shoulder I spoke of earlier, that's all they have to hold tight to - that they, somehow, marginalized by the system for a host of reasons, have only concepts like liberal and democratic and the mere name of Clinton to blame.

It's lash out politics, whereby they refuse to believe they have been willing participants in their own oppression by embracing ignorance, hate, and fear. It has to be someone else's fault - some other - that forever allows them to feel smug and secure in their own delusions.

Trump is no better. He has no understanding of how government works. Not even the basics - like how a bill becomes a law - and SchoolHouse Rock taught that to anyone listening to TV on a Saturday morning.

10. What I find seriously disturbing is that even when he has been found

lying 91% of the time, the media allows him to spew even more lies

14. They long ago decided it was somehow good to allow lies to go unchallenged

to pretend that opinion somehow means the same as fact, and that reporting the truth is somehow not part of their profession.

They've allowed ratings to determine the news.

Profits over being the actual defenders of a free and unfettered press. But let them feel the least bit put upon and they want to scream journalistic integrity as if their scrambling for ratings allows for integrity.

edit to add - I think the dynamic between his parents was probably a major factor in how he views women. So, Trump isn't without daddy issues either.
