Latest Gallup Tracking Poll Shows Obama Popularity Soaring Just In Time For Election

According to Gallup, 57 percent of Americans believe the current president is doing a good job.

The latest Gallup tracking poll shows President Obama’s approval rating is soaring just in time for the Nov. 8 election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

According to Gallup, 57 percent of Americans believe the current president is doing a good job – his best marks since just after his 2012 re-election.

The tweet below by Republican pollster Frank Luntz shows how Obama stacks up with the approval rating of recent presidents at the same point in their second terms. While the current president ties Bill Clinton, he easily beats Republican hero Ronald Reagan.

He is suddenly looking very good to many who have been unhappy with him for years.

This country will miss him when he is gone.

And like Reagan when he ushered a generation of conservatives into this country, Obama will usher in an entire new generation of progressives. Only this time the country will be changed for the better.

Obama once gave a controversial interview where he said he wanted to be as influential as Reagan by the end of his presidency. Mission accomplished.

Even Clinton's mark should come with an asterisk because the Monica scandal was a very big deal that dis hurt his ranking despite the approval rating.

The bottoms line is that Obama is the most powerful 2-term President since probably FDR.

I surely can't recall such a phenomena. If the House and Senate turned blue, it would be fun to watch this new Obama finally getting his agenda completed.
