Trump lands first major newspaper endorsement

It takes the story a while to get there, but Donald Trump has been endorsed by the Las Vegas Review, a newspaper owned by Trump donor and Republican bankroller Sheldon Adelson.

Donald Trump landed his first major newspaper endorsement late Saturday, with the Las Vegas-Review Journal throwing its support behind the GOP presidential nominee.

"History tells us that agents for reform often generate fear and alarm among those intent on preserving their cushy sinecures," the paper said in its editorial.

In its endorsement Saturday, the paper owned by casino magnate and GOP mega-donor Sheldon Adelson argued that Clinton would "cuddle up to the ways and perks of Washington like she would to a cozy old blanket."

An old business practice usually referred to as "protecting one's investment." I'm sure Donald is so very proud of the endorsement of the newspaper owned by his benefactor.

Probably the same way they reacted to his 'locker room' talk. When it was Bill Clinton's consensual sex between adults, quelle horreur. Now, it is boys will be boys. Never being one for sports, I avoided at all costs locker rooms but I would like to think that others would have a problem with some entitled richie scumbag bragging about sexual assault; do these others not have wives, sisters and mothers?
