Have we learned our lesson yet? NO. MORE. REPUBLICAN. APPOINTEES.

Stop trying to make nice. Stop pretending they still have honor. Stop fantasizing that there are still some "good ones" with integrity who put love of country, and the truth, first.

Oh, you say you're under no illusions about them and think that bringing them into the fold means they're co-opted and neutralized? Yeah, NO.

These people aren't good, they aren't interested in being fair, and they aren't going to be brought over to the bright side. All they want is one thing: more power for themselves at all costs. Comey is just the latest example of Dems not learning the lesson of "The Scorpion and the Frog".

Luckily, I think HRC knows this better than literally anyone and will act accordingly once elected. Maybe that's why they fear her the most.

It's the people who will come out of the woodwork on Nov. 9 imploring the party to be gracious in victory and encourage healing by giving Repubs a seat at the table. Fuck that.

It's probably time to stop enabling them. Healing, my ass. They need to feel the sting of this loss for a very long time. Only way they'll learn not to behave this way again.

I've known plenty of "good" Republicans but there are too many better Democrats to pick from to let them occupy a single office.

They've got Republican family members pushing them. Republican friends pushing them. This is 24/7/365.

Even if they aren't trying to stab you in the back all sense of balance is lost.

Risk without benefit.
