Great reporting from Standing Rock. The attitude of DAPL is heartless and their use of force against unarmed tribal people unbelievable! My heart is with the Protectors.

Keep sending heartfelt vibes to the Protectors. A herd of buffalo, tatanka oyate, came from out of nowhere, gave the People some much needed inspiration!!!

And cried with gratitude that tatanka oyate brought joy and compassion to the protectors.

I saw the video earlier and the sight of the bison arriving like hope itself really moved me. I have friends who travel back and forth like you seem to be doing but I'm older with mobility problems and would be a burden on others. Wado, sagetea. Mni Wiconi.

Who lit the tire fires? Aren't those extremely polluting and perhaps conflicting with the purpose for the protests?

That the ndns did...yes it was very stupid, and as much as some want to fight fire with fire, we have to stay in peace and prayer. There was a lot of frustration yesterday, as you can see from the videos. It is so frustrating that the people who are supposed to serve and protect the people, are protecting big oil. No excuse, and the ones who lit the fire were talked to.

I don't blame the youth, they see their grandmothers and grandfathers being pulled from a sacred sweat. the women being stripped searched and left to sit in a cell while still naked, you get frustrated.

For a native to see that people don't value the water or want to protect the earth it just drives you crazy.
