My wife asked, as she came downstairs to see if I was watching the rally for Trump on television. She was shaken by what she had seen.
The rally was in Phoenix and Trump was pulling no punches. All that was missing was the German. The scariest part was the people screaming and cheering him on. Indeed, it looked like a Nazi rally. It was very disturbing.
And the most disturbing part about it was that the people at the rally had no idea what they were taking part in. It was just a simple political rally to them.
It couldn't happen here?

(40,216 posts)It scares me that there are so many people who Trump can get worked up into a frenzy. It must give him a perverted sense of control and power.

I hope we dodge him as president, it would be AWFUL...

I had the sudden urge to get involved in voter suppression of some sort. I hope these people don't vote.
