Ohio troopers headed to N.D. pipeline protest

A contingent from the Ohio State Highway Patrol left Dayton this morning to assist North Dakota officials with security in protests over a pipeline.

Thirty-seven Ohio troopers from all over the state are en route to the site, officials said this morning.

4. There are law enforcement from all over up here

And by "up here" I mean that I live straight north of the protest in the same county (Morton Co.) that was charging Amy Goodman with rioting. Embarrassing. There are helicopters going over my house all the time to fly out there. Police cars driving to nearby hotels and Walmart all the time from all over the state and outside the state. It makes me sick. I feel powerless.

The state trooper story is more disturbing to me since they can inflict real physical damage.
