Feeling the Bern

Things I learned about myself from Twits on Twitter

1: I am gay (my wife would be surprised to hear that)

2: I'm a loser who can't get laid (again, my wife would be shocked, as would all the women I dated before I got married in 2014).

3: I'm fat (man, that burns. I mean, I may be fat. . .never knew being 6'2" and 245 with 14% BF was fat. . .but these people are stupid and I can diet)

4: Trump is going to sue me (I live in Asia. Good luck serving those papers there)

5: I hate America (apparently, being a deplorable means you cornered the market on patriotism (tm)).

6: I'm not a historian (One of my BAs is in history, PhD in Chinese History - dissertation on the life of the Chinese under the collaborist government of Wang Jing Wei after the Rape of Nanking - producer/screenwriter that specializes in period pieces. . .worked at the Rape of Nanking Museum for four years, field work with Rape of Nanking/Jeju Massacre/Terracota Warriors and university history professor for seven years in Hebei in China and Jiangsu in China)

7: I bought my wife (I'm sure my in-laws would be surprised to hear that)

8: I married a Chinese "whore" because I'm a loser that couldn't find a real woman (love that xenophobic bigotry)

9: I live in my parents basement (apparently, my parents live in Wuxi with me and not in Arizona where they actually live)

10: I don't know anything about politics (My second BA is in Political Science. . .one of my Master's Degrees is in Geospatial Sciences, concentrating on urban development and land use. . .just because I am not one of these paid pundits on TV doesn't mean I know nothing, Mr. Deplorable)

Twitter is a cesspool. I am on there simply for professional reasons. I post a little in politics and these people come out of the woodwork. That "block" button is nice. It ends all bullshit quickly.

Too bad you even need to be on Twitter. That's one social media I haven't connected with and probably never will.

Or for social media in general. I have a Facebook account but honestly that was created because it was recommended by a headhunter who told me that people without a presence on social media were viewed with suspicion by some companies.
