The Cubs won? LOVE IT!!! And what's the ongoing conventional wisdom? That every time the National League wins, during a Presidential election year, then the Democrats prevail. Well how 'bout that, then?

Congratulations to the Cubs and to Chicago. I temporarily adopted the Cubs after the Nats got eliminated in the playoffs. That last game was one for the records!
