'The FBI is Trumpland': anti-Clinton atmosphere spurred leaks, sources say
Highly unfavorable view of Hillary Clinton intensified after James Comey’s decision not to recommend an indictment over her use of a private email server

“The FBI is Trumpland,” said one current agent.

This atmosphere raises major questions about how Comey and the bureau he is slated to run for the next seven years can work with Clinton should she win the White House.

The currently serving FBI agent said Clinton is “the antichrist personified to a large swath of FBI personnel,” and that “the reason why they’re leaking is they’re pro-Trump.”

The agent called the bureau “Trumplandia,” with some colleagues openly discussing voting for a GOP nominee who has garnered unprecedented condemnation from the party’s national security wing and who has pledged to jail Clinton if elected.

It is no surprise that the FBI has attracted so many authoritarians into its ranks. To some degree abusing the office is held in check by the Hatch Act and FBI policy. Now that Comey has made it clear that those can be ignored, these agents feel free to leak and even fabricate and even if caught, suffer no consequence.

If they are caught and fired, they get to write a book and go on the hate-lecture circuit as one of Clinton's victims.

He's a Democrat, but says most of his colleagues are center-right to hard-right.

Most of the law enforcement unions have endorsed him. He constantly thanks the cops at his rallies and says he supports the police. He's got sheriffs endorsing him. Sheriffs were speaking at the RNC convention.

The FBI is law enforcement. They are cops.

Not quite sure why people think the FBI is somehow better or more ethical than any other type of police.
