Dealing with the RWNJ family members

So my wife posted on Facebook the New York Times story on the church firebombed in Mississippi and my brother replies, after someone said this is "horrible," with

It's horrible what Hillary supporters will do to distract folks from the latest scandal.

then, after I replied (then deleted my reply, which basically said I was horrified by his reaction)

My statement is based upon deductive reasoning. Trump is crushing it there and someone firebombed a local Republican Party HQ nearby. Seems far more likely this is an inside job.

I assume "nearby" means North Carolina.

Is this some bit of tinfoil hat nuttery he picked up somewhere, or is it his own creation? I can't wait for this election to be over!

...does anyone doubt we'll segue right to "Hillary stole it!" and then to "Impeach Hillary"?

"If you try that, the DOJ will bring up the Bushits including Cheney on treason charges"---or whatever is an appropriate charge for going to war under false pretenses.

But it will be the increasingly desperate bleatings of a small number of "dead-enders." There will be plenty of Trump voters who have better things to do - the vast majority of them, I'm sure.

He's a cousin in Tennessee I haven't seen for 22 years. That was at our grandfather's 100th birthday party.

I don't even remember if he was on wife #2 or #3.

I'm sure he's happy where he is. Seeing as how that's 5000 miles from me, I don't anticipate discussing politics, or anything else, with him any time soon.

First response is usually 'false flag' if we don't like what went down and it makes Dems look bad.

Happens on both sides.

But a number of people here have asked where the Trump supporters' GoFundMe campaign is to repair the church. Our side raised over $10k in an hour when the NC GOP HQ was firebombed, no questions asked about "false flag."

So yes, all sides have their tinfoil hat brigades. But we're also not just mirror images of one another.
