"""Donald Trump Won't Be Able to Start a News Network"""

That is what a poster who opposed bringing back the fairness doctrine or some version of it told me

Well...

"Rumors continue to swirl around a possible media empire led by Donald Trump — Trump TV, perhaps? — with a new casting notice for an “up-and-coming conservative media network currently in development.”

The notice says the anonymous enterprise is seeking hosts, reporters and right-leaning, well-spoken panelists, according to Fox News, which first reported on the news.

The notice goes on to say candidates "must be knowledgeable about conservative viewpoints, current events and the presidential election," adding that applicants must also "look upscale and intelligent" and should be "outspoken and energetic."

The start up also apparently wants currently unemployed candidates. Auditions are being held in New York on Nov. 7 — the day before Election Day — when anybody with political expertise would be working."

because you know that bastard won't give up easily. The Trump campaign was just income while he gets his bearings. I'm sure he's talking to Adelson, Pope, and a lot of the other rat bastards out there to get this thing going.

"Up market" is not going to appeal to the usual conservative. I wonder if Ailes knows that or if "up market" is just his jargon for "all male newscasters."

What is now known as "Donald Trumps base".
And that "base" is an intentionally pre-groomed audience, imo.

I shudder to think what kind of monster an "orange network" would spawn.

EVER shut the f**k up as long as we have a Democratic president. They will still have a media presence, whether he owns it or not.
