The right-wing echo chamber plays the same notes over and over again. One such talking point is the lie that groups such as Black Lives Matter and “inner city” residents are waging a “war” on America’s police.

When the fascist Donald Trump brays about how America’s police are under “siege” and that no one “respects” them anymore he is channeling this lie.

Fox New’s Sean Hannity channels this lie when he says, “Black Lives Matter is not the answer. They only make things worse because their advancing narrative is killing cops.”

His compatriot Bill O’Reilly also channels this lie when he says, “We have open season on the cops” and that Black Lives Matter is a “hate group.”

5. I would think the Police have more to worry about with white guys.

I'm a white guy. I see a lot of angry white guys out there. I DO NOT understand the reason for their anger. It seems some of these angry white may also be police. With that said, I believe our (my) police have more to worry about from the angry white guys. These guys have one hell of a job. I support them and my hat is off to the police (generic for the women and men).

My heart goes out to the families of the two fallen officers. May the thing that did these murders rot in prison. I am against the death penalty generally. But, this angry white guy needs to be put out of his misery.

Why, why, why, nothing is worth the taking on any life over what has happened in Iowa.

Once again, the Officers.

6. People like Greene see a hierarchy where white men are on the top rung,

the government / cops are on the next rungs down, white women on the next rung, followed by minorities. In their mind, the cops/government are responsible for keeping women and minorities in their place. If the cops or the government does something they don't like, then they are within their rights to go to war with those entities (remember, they're at the top of the pyramid). We've seen this mentality play out both with the Bundy bunch and now Greene.

Notice how the whole thing began because Greene was furious about PEACEFUL protest over police brutality.

Then, when Greene was confronted by the very cops he was supposedly standing up for, things changed. From there, he used VIOLENT/ MURDEROUS tactics to get his point across.
