(62,444 posts)What's remarkable about this is how you have managed to capture so much wrong information with such an economy of words.
1. There is no "rape trial". There is a civil suit which, to this day, has never been served on any of the defendants.
2. There was an order issued on October 4th setting a status conference date of December 16. It further ordered the plaintiff to serve that order on the defendant. To this date, that order has not been served on the defendant either.
This suit is the "exploding cigar" of the 2016 election, and everyone who has touched it has been burned. The "Jane Doe" has managed to bilk its original anti-Trump conservative backer out of $49,000, her publicist told a Jezebel reporter to "suck my dick" when the reporter refused to pay for access and was asking too many questions, and most recently drove Lisa Bloom over a cliff.

(62,444 posts)In New York, service may be effected by first class mail to his residence.
If one is having difficulty effecting service on a defendant, then one can move for alternative service, such as by email.
