Democrat Foster Campbell in a Runoff for US Senate

Foster Campbell is a Democrat from Louisiana running for US Senate with a runoff in December. If he wins, there will be 49 Democratic senators to Republican's 50 (and not all Republicans support Trump). Please consider donating to his campaign! Every seat counts!!!

In the Senate, Foster Will Fight For:
•Enforceable equal pay for equal work
•Paid family leave
•Access to high quality pre-K education
•Policies that support victims of domestic violence

It may be strategy, since he IS in Louisiana, after all. Lisa0825 Nov 2016 #12

I'm kinda surprised he is a democrat, but maybe he has crossover appeal. We sure could use him!

Hi, this is my first time posting although I have been a very long time lurker.

Anyway, after reading a Daily Kos Blog entry that that DSCC and DNC weren't doing anything to help, I called the DSCC yesterday and spoke to Mitch. He assured me that resources would be poured into the race in the upcoming days.

When I called them again today to discuss the race again, the woman I spoke with said they were still deciding whether to get involved or not. I was so upset that I didn't get her name and decided to terminate the conversation before I lost my cool.

Anyway, I made a donation and signed up to do virtual phone banking which hasn't yet been set up by the campaign. But I am very frustrated with the DSCC responses I have received.

Oh and I called the DNC and was transferred to someone's voice mail who hasn't returned my call.

Anyway, I wanted to share my experiences in dealing with the party regarding this race.

I can't believe that their judgment about this important Senate candidate is so bad. That they even have to think about sending him monetary support.

Looks as if we've faced with the same old, tired party. UGH.

Again, welcome!

Narrow the Margin

There's still one outstanding U.S. Senate race, a runoff for the vacant Louisiana seat between Democrat Foster Campbell and his Republican rival. A Campbell victory would increase the Senate Democratic caucus to 49 (a three-seat gain!), requiring the help of only two decent Republicans to fight the worst of Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell's agenda, especially the appointment of reactionary Supreme Court justices. There are so many worthy causes to support, but this is the one that can make the most immediate and longlasting impact. Protect the progress of the last eight years by supporting Foster in the December 10 election. #NarrowTheMargin
