Looking for some way to respond to the disastrous outcome of the tainted election I followed the suggestion of flipthe37.blogspot.com and emailed the Republican electors urging them not to elect Trump. Legally that is the purest bullshit. What concerns me is that some Trump supporters have taken to personally threatening anyone who attempts to sway the electors. One nutbag in Wyoming who hides under the name of WisdomWorld is publishing the names of all those who sent emails to the electors. He says I should seek a safe place.

During the run-up to the Iraq War I was very vocal and public in my opposition. It cost me friends and clients. That bothered me but I was never fearful. This time we have a lunatic headed for the White House who has laid bare the very worst of this country and incited them to violence in his name. After seeing what one of them was able to do to DU, I am very concerned about my family. Sadly I won’t even have a government from which I can expect protection. We are Nazi Germany.
