(9,580 posts)Why is it difficult for so many to see that some things are really very simple - mutual respect, friendship, and a common human experience?

(149,636 posts)Thank you for this charming little video.
I mean it!
It's lovely.
Brought a tear to these old eyes of mine...
And thank you for helping Skinner, Elad and EarlG in getting DU back!
Both my husband and I LOVE Amazon. Buy all kinds of things all the time.

(2,638 posts)I love my Prime and being disabled means I do my shopping at Amazon. But it makes me feel good knowing that a portion will also go to a charity of my choosing. With no other effort on my part except how I log in to their site.

(17,641 posts)They have seriously screwed my last 2 prime orders. The US Post office saved their ass last Xmas. They are selling fake Apple cables etc. I wonder?

(53,035 posts)I expect. I don't think they vet them well enough.

(14,643 posts)Via their chat, they'll extend your Prime membership by a month. If they don't do that, give a bad review on the page that pops up after the chat, agree to give them a second chance, and you'll get a chat with a better rep.

(16 posts)If they don't give you satisfactions, on the review let them know, They really do try and make things right.

But hey, they made a nice commercial. No need to expect actual humane treatment of fellow humans when choosing where to shop.

(883 posts)They need to be boycotted. They give to republicans. Trump affliiated company. If they really believed what is in the commercial they would stop doing business with Trump and quit giving your money to the republicans to use against you.

(883 posts)Amazon is a Trump affiliate. I do not care that they made a feel good ad. They treat their employees horrible. They support the republican party. They are lined up to get regulations changed.

(26,403 posts)Trump has even spoken of what he can do against Amazon because of Jeff's use of the Washington Post to report on actual news.
Now, the jobs at Amazon are not the best and yes they treat them very poorly. However, to be honest, these jobs are going to be among the first which are transitioned to robots. This is part of the real change which is occurring and which a Trump presidency will never prepare the American job market for.

Seems to lean Libertarian ... but has supported many democrats with a smattering or republicans.
He doesn't appear to be a liberal icon but .... I Can find nothing to back up any of your assertions ....?

(883 posts)Amazon's track record and lining up for reg changes in the news just google it. There are plenty of sites that will tell you who gives to what party.

(1,139 posts)Only thing for personal use were the condoms. And I know you were being cute. We have found a great deal on condoms and we have a lot of house parties and we just purchased a fuck saw that will need a condom with every single use and we put them out on the table in case any of our guests decide they need one. We are a sex positive environment.
