"Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen! Apologize!"

If he feels "unsafe" when artists speak their minds, then he needs to stay the fuck away from artists. We will be happy to oblige.
And if there is a boycott on the part of Trump supporters - Imma happy to take your tix!

(6,344 posts)I had seen not to long ago on Youtube a peice showing the already built and empty camps. They can hold 1,000's of people. It was alarming to see.

(6,344 posts)It was within a video about the surveillance state, it was one segment in the documentary. I do not have a link right now, I did not save it. I closed the window it was so alarming. It had rows and rows of barracks (empty). Now, I don't know if it was a privatized prison just built or not. The video said it was federally owned.

(16 posts)regarding all the internment camps built lately, ostensibly by FEMA and supporting documentation listing all of the Executive orders that Obama has issued to make it legal to start them up. All bunk.
Obama's supposed EO's:

Obama's supposed flood of EO's:
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2014/feb/06/chain-email/chain-email-claims-barack-obama-has-signed-1000-ex/
It is all bunk as about 5 minutes on Google will show.

(3,531 posts)Remember that older gentleman Trump supporter at the Obama rally? Obama calmed the crowd down and then spoke eloquently about respecting one another and having more tolerance? I think the very next day tRump was haranguing his mob about Obama "harassing and intimidating" the tRump supporter, the complete opposite of what actually happened.
This is the new normal; a president who can't be trusted to say "hello" without lying. And the press will report his lies without comment or clarification. And the drooling masses will eat it up.

(61,649 posts)A member of Congress yelled "You lie" to the president during his first speech to Congress. Did Trump condemn that? Did a single Republican condemn that historic breach of decorum and respect? If not, they need to shut the fuck up about what an actor said in a theater.

(42,564 posts)The show's cast and creator have been very public about their support of Hillary and liberal ideals.Seems strange that Pence would even want to go see it, but I thought the message at the end of the show was very well written and much more respectful than I would have been. Certainly not harassment.
I thought it was quite respectful.

And " conversation is not harassment. " that was the wonderful response from Hamilton.

(63,221 posts)Is he now going to forcefully demand that people apologize whenever there is a slight against him or a member of his staff? Will he start throwing people in prison camps for speaking their minds? I just can't believe we have such an immature, tyrannical cheeto-faced shitgibbon for president. I still can't quite get my mind around it.

I see nothing in the First Amendment that requires apologies for the exercise of free speech.
And hey Donald, that means you can still choose to react along the lines of a 2-year-old tantrum thrower.
Same old same old.

My initial tiny thing - all of my tweets end with hashtag #NotMyPresident #NeverMyPresident - as in teeny tiny. Of course anything any of us do could open us up to backlash...but we must do things - tiny, small, medium - and hopefully, participate in the large - mass protests. Strikes. Whatever will wake up the media and the pols on "our side"

Also, the cast was very civil, all things considered. Pence got booed by the audience. It's going to happen. Bunch of whiny bullies who can dish it out but can't take it. Bleh.
