Donald Trump is looking for a scapegoat for his impending disasters...

Especially in foreign policy.

That is why he had Mitt Romney for a visit. He would like for him to take the Secretary of State position. So he could take all the flak that is soon to come down the road. He doesn't really care for the idea that the "buck stops here". He is never responsible.

The President-elect is a low-life and a grifter. He stole this election with his lies and name-calling and a subservient media that persuaded the simple minded into doing something very stupid.

So far the only people wiling to accept position in this administration are radical, unhinged grifty lowlifes with zero principles other than advancing themselves. People who exactly like Trump. They have are going to turn on each other and eat each other alive. Unfortunately, the rest of us are going to get harmed in their swath of destructive decs ion making.

5. It's only him and his asshole supporters that are to blame for this.

Placing the blame on anyone else is a redundancy.

far too vengeful and vindictive for that.

It's all show, and for the potential to humiliate in some way should it serve him.

11. How would this go over in the Mormon community?

No Mormon of my acquaintance wanted anything to do with Trump. How in the world would Mitt spin it if he took a job with the Orange Cretin?

If Mormons are 'moral relativists' like the rest of the Christians, Romney wouldn't have to do much explaining if he took the job.

Not in the USA, anyway.

15. That Trump is president is indicative of how sick our current culture is.

Pure reality TV bullshit, narcissism, consumerism, hero worship.

It is a time that is completely unrecognizable to me - I cannot - and refuse - to relate to it. Utter trash.

Isn't just the US - the world is taking a cultural dip - rise of authoritarianism, use of religion as a weapon (well, that one's been playing forever) - just a nasty, nasty time.

Of hiring anyone that opposed him during the campaign. I think he called Ted Cruz and Romney both to make them kiss the ring. Besides, Romney policies seem to moderate for the Trump crazy train.
